Seeking Lailatul-Qadr in Ramadan

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) advised to seek Lailatul-Qadr in the last ten nights of Ramadan, and to not miss the last seven nights.

It was narrated from 'Ali (رضي الله عنه) that The Messenger of Allah said: "Seek Lailatul-Qadr in the last ten nights of Ramadan, and if you miss anything, make sure you do not miss the last seven nights'.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنِي سُوَيْدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْهِلَالِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ هُبَيْرَةَ بْنِ يَرِيمَ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ اطْلُبُوا لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ فِي الْعَشْرِ الْأَوَاخِرِ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ فَإِنْ غُلِبْتُمْ فَلَا تُغْلَبُوا عَلَى السَّبْعِ الْبَوَاقِي‏.‏

EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith is about seeking a special night during the month of Ramadan called Lailatul-Qadr. This night is said to be better than a thousand months and it is believed that on this night, Allah's blessings are abundant. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) advised Muslims to seek this special night in the last ten nights of Ramadan, and if they miss anything, make sure they do not miss out on the last seven nights. This hadith teaches us that we should strive for excellence even when it comes to our religious practices and take advantage of every opportunity given by Allah SWT. It also encourages us to be consistent with our worship so that we can reap its rewards fully.
