QUICK LESSONS:
Strive for moderation in dress and adornment

EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith narrated by Abdullah bin Hunain states that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) prohibited 'Ali from wearing clothes dyed with safflower and gold rings. This prohibition is not necessarily applicable to all Muslims, as it was only directed at 'Ali specifically. However, this hadith serves as a reminder of the importance of modesty in dress for Muslims, as well as the need to avoid extravagance in clothing or jewelry. It is important to note that this prohibition does not apply to all forms of clothing or jewelry; rather, it applies specifically to those items which are considered extravagant or excessive in nature. Furthermore, this hadith serves as a reminder that one should strive for moderation in their dress and adornment so that they may remain humble before Allah.
