This hadith speaks about the excellence of two companions of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him - Abu Bakr and Umar. It is narrated by Ali, may Allah be pleased with him. The hadith states that after Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, the best people in his ummah are Abu Bakr and then Umar. It also mentions that Allah bestows goodness wherever He wills. This teaches us to always strive for excellence in our lives as well as to have faith in God's will for us. We should remember that no matter what happens in our lives, it is all part of God's plan for us which will ultimately lead to good outcomes if we remain patient and steadfast on His path.
