Properly Performing Wudoo

SUMMARY: Wudoo is an important part of Islamic practice and should be done properly.

On another occasion, Sufyan told us. I saw 'Ali (رضي الله عنه) doing wudoo’, and he wiped the top of them the feet.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، مَرَّةً أُخْرَى قَالَ رَأَيْتُ عَلِيًّا رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ تَوَضَّأَ فَمَسَحَ ظُهُورَهُمَا‏.‏

Wudoo is an important part of Islamic practice and should be done properly. This hadith was narrated by Sufyan who saw 'Ali doing wudoo and wiping the top of his feet. It is important to note that when performing wudoo, one must make sure to wipe the top of their feet as well as other parts such as hands, face, arms etc. This hadith serves as a reminder for Muslims to perform their ablutions correctly in order to fulfill their religious obligations.
