Wudoo for Madhi

SUMMARY: The Prophet ﷺ advised al-Miqdad to perform wudoo when dealing with madhi.

It was narrated from Ibn al-Hanafiyyah that 'Ali (رضي الله عنه) told al-Miqdad to ask the Prophet about madhi and he said: 'Let him do wudoo''.
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ مُنْذِرٍ أَبِي يَعْلَى، عَنْ ابْنِ الْحَنَفِيَّةِ، أَنَّ عَلِيًّا، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَمَرَ الْمِقْدَادَ فَسَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ عَنْ الْمَذْيِ فَقَالَ يَتَوَضَّأُ‏.‏
