Follow sunna closely when performing religious duties

This hadith is about how to perform wudu according to the sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad. It was narrated from an-Nazzal bin Sabrah that when 'Ali prayed Zuhr prayer he called for a vessel of water in ar-Rahbah and drank whilst standing. Then he said that some men dislike this but he saw the Messenger of Allah do what he just did. He then wiped himself with what was left over and said that this is the wudoo of one who has not broken his wudoo. This hadith teaches us how important it is to follow the sunnah of our beloved prophet as closely as possible when performing our daily prayers or any other religious duties. It also teaches us to be humble and not be ashamed or embarrassed if we are doing something different than others around us because we know we are following in the footsteps of our beloved prophet Muhammad peace be upon him.
