QUICK LESSONS:
Dress modestly, Respect Allah's words

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught his followers to dress modestly and not to wear clothing that was too luxurious. He also taught them not to recite the Quran while bowing in prayer as this could lead to disrespecting its words. He specifically prohibited 'Ali from wearing gold rings, a blend of linen and silk, or clothes dyed with safflower dye. These teachings emphasize the importance of modesty in dress as well as respect for Allah's words.
