The Good One and the Purified One

SUMMARY: The Prophet ﷺ gave permission to 'Ammar to enter his presence and referred to him as the good one and the purified one.

It was narrated from 'Ali (رضي الله عنه) that 'Ammar asked permission to enter upon the Prophet and he said: 'The good one, the purified one".
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ هَانِئِ بْنِ هَانِئٍ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ عَمَّارًا، اسْتَأْذَنَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ فَقَالَ الطَّيِّبُ الْمُطَيَّبُ‏.‏

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks of the importance of being good and pure in order for one to be granted permission by the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. It is narrated that 'Ammar asked for permission from the Prophet ﷺ, who then referred to him as ‘the good one’ and ‘the purified one’. This shows us that it is important for us to strive towards goodness in our lives, so that we can be granted access into places where we would not otherwise be allowed. Additionally, this hadith also teaches us about purity; it is important for us to stay away from things which are considered impure or sinful, so that we can remain pure in our hearts and minds.
