QUICK LESSONS:
Seek permission before entering any place or situation where you are not invited or expected. Show respect when entering any place or situation especially when it comes to visiting someone who is more important than you such as a prophet or leader.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the importance of entering the presence of the Prophet with respect and permission. It is narrated from Abu Umamah that Ali bin Abi Talib said that whenever he would go to visit the Prophet, if he found him praying, he would say tasbeeh and be allowed to enter. If not, then he would be given permission to enter. This shows us how important it was for people to seek permission before entering into a place or situation where they were not invited or expected. It also teaches us that we should always show respect when entering any place or situation, especially when it comes to visiting someone who is more important than us such as a prophet or leader.
