This hadith is about two companions of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him; Ali and Umar. It was narrated by a man from the tribe of Banu Asad that he heard them talking about a Hadeeth similar to that which was narrated by Suwaid bin Saeed. The main idea behind this hadith is to show respect for those who are older than us, as well as for those who have knowledge or wisdom beyond our own. We should also strive to learn more about our faith so we can better understand it and pass on its teachings to others. By doing so, we can help spread peace and understanding throughout our communities.
