EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith discusses the requirements of performing ghusl in the case of janabah. Janabah is a state of ritual impurity which occurs after sexual intercourse or ejaculation. In this hadith, 'Ali asked the Prophet about what to do when he experienced madhi, which is a type of pre-ejaculatory fluid that can occur during arousal. The Prophet advised him that if he did ejaculate then he should perform ghusl for janabah but if not then no ghusl was necessary. This hadith teaches us that it is important to be aware of our physical states and take appropriate action when needed in order to remain spiritually pure and clean before Allah. It also emphasizes the importance of seeking knowledge from reliable sources such as the Prophet himself in order to make sure we are following Islamic teachings correctly.
