QUICK LESSONS:
Follow religious laws when punishing someone after due process has been followed and all evidence has presented before an impartial judge or court system .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about how Ali punished a woman according to the teachings of Islam. The punishment was flogging on Thursday and stoning on Friday. Flogging is a punishment prescribed by Allah in the Quran for certain crimes such as theft or adultery. Stoning is also prescribed by Allah in the Hadith of Prophet Muhammad for certain crimes such as adultery or false accusation against chaste women. Both punishments are meant to be deterrents from committing these types of crimes again, while also providing justice for those who have been wronged. It is important to note that these punishments should only be carried out after due process has been followed and all evidence has been presented before an impartial judge or court system.
