QUICK LESSONS:
Follow Islamic rulings and teachings with respect .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith narrates that Ali told Shuraih bin Hani that it is permissible to wipe over the khuff, which are leather slippers. This means that when performing wudu or ghusl, one can wipe over their leather slippers instead of washing them. This is a great convenience for those who wear leather slippers as they do not have to take them off and wash them every time they perform wudu or ghusl. It also teaches us the importance of following Islamic rulings and teachings even if we do not understand why they are in place.
