The Importance of Thanking Allah for His Provision

SUMMARY: This hadith is about the importance of thanking Allah for His provision and not attributing it to any other source.

It was narrated from 'Ali (رضي الله عنه) that The Prophet said: "And instead (of thanking Allah) for the provision. He gives you, you deny (Him by disbelief)!' Al-Waqi'ah 56:82. He said: 'Your shirk is when you say'.We were given rain by such-and-such a star.’"

QUICK LESSONS:
Be thankful to Allah for all his provision

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith emphasizes the importance of being grateful to Allah for all that He provides us with. It warns against attributing any blessings or provisions to anyone else besides Him. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said that shirk or disbelief is when one says that they were given rain by a star or any other source instead of thanking Allah for it. We should always remember that everything we have comes from Him and be thankful accordingly.

This hadith also teaches us the importance of having faith in God and trusting in His plan for us. We should never forget how much He has blessed us with and show our appreciation through our words and actions. By doing so, we can ensure that we are living according to His will and fulfilling our purpose in life as Muslims.
