Equality in Zakah Distribution

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) showed that he had no more right to the zakah camels than any other Muslim.

It was narrated that 'Ali (رضي الله عنه) said: The zakah camels passed by the Messenger of Allah . He lay his hand on a hair on the side of a camel and said: "I have no more right to this hair than any Muslim".

QUICK LESSONS:
Give charity and help those who are less fortunate than you; Treat everyone equally regardless of their social status; Share your wealth with others who need it more than you do; Do not be greedy or selfish with your wealth; Be generous and selfless in your actions towards others .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of equality when it comes to distributing zakah. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was demonstrating this by showing that he had no more right to the zakah camels than any other Muslim. This teaches us that everyone should be treated equally and fairly regardless of their social status or position in society. It also shows us how important it is for Muslims to give charity and help those who are less fortunate than them. By doing so, we can ensure that everyone has access to basic necessities such as food and shelter. Furthermore, this hadith also serves as a reminder for us not to be greedy or selfish with our wealth but rather share it with others who need it more than we do.
