QUICK LESSONS:
Be mindful of your prayers, Follow the example of Prophet Muhammad in performing them
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about how the Prophet Muhammad used to pray. He would pray one type of prayer called witr when he heard the call to prayer, or adhan. Then he would pray two rak'ahs when he heard a second call to prayer known as iqamah. This teaches us that it is important for Muslims to be mindful of their prayers and follow the example of Prophet Muhammad in how they perform them. It also shows us that we should be attentive and respond quickly whenever we hear a call for prayer so that we can fulfill our religious obligations in time.
