EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith emphasizes the importance of gathering information and witnessing events in order to have accurate knowledge. It is narrated by 'Ali ibn Abi Talib, who was asked by the Prophet Muhammad if he should go on a mission without delay or witness and find out what someone who is not there cannot find out. The Prophet Muhammad replied that it was important to witness and find out what someone who is not there cannot find out. This teaches us that it is important to be present at an event in order to gain accurate knowledge, rather than relying on second-hand accounts or hearsay. It also encourages us to take initiative when we are sent on a mission, as we should strive for accuracy in our work.
