EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith highlights the generosity and compassion of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ towards those in need, particularly those from among his companions known as ‘Ahlul Suffa’. The Prophet ﷺ was so generous that he would not give to others while leaving them in need. He even went so far as to refuse to give a servant to someone if it meant leaving ‘Ahlul Suffa’ hungry. This hadith teaches us that we should be generous with our wealth and resources, especially when it comes to helping those who are less fortunate than us. We should also strive to be compassionate towards others, no matter their background or circumstances.
