How the Prophet Performed Wudu

SUMMARY: The hadith is about how the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) performed wudu (ablution).

It was narrated from one of the Ansar that his father said: I was standing with 'Uthman bin 'Affan (رضي الله عنه) and he said: Shall I not tell you how the Messenger of Allah did wudoo'? We said: Yes indeed. He called for water and washed his face three times, rinsed his mouth and nose three times, then he washed his hands up to the elbow three times, then he wiped his head and his ears, and washed his feet three times. Then he said: This is how the Messenger of Allah did wudoo'.
