The Benefits of Early Sleep

SUMMARY: Sleeping early in the day can lead to a lack of provision.

It was narrated from 'Amr bin 'Uthman bin 'Affan (رضي الله عنه) that his father said: The Messenger of Allah said: "Sleeping early in the day leads to withholding of provision".

QUICK LESSONS:
Be mindful about when you sleep during the day so it doesn't interfere with your ability to work and provide for yourself.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith, narrated by Amr bin Uthman bin Affan, tells us that sleeping early in the day can lead to a lack of provision. This means that if we sleep too much during the day, we may not have enough money or resources to provide for ourselves and our families. It is important to remember that this does not mean that we should never take naps or rest during the day; rather, it is a reminder to be mindful of how much time we spend sleeping and make sure it does not interfere with our ability to work and provide for ourselves. Additionally, this hadith encourages us to be mindful of how our actions affect our lives and those around us. By being aware of how our choices impact us financially, we can make better decisions about when and how long we should sleep each day.
