Follow examples set by prophets/scholars, strive for closeness with Allah through emulation of teachings/actions

This hadith is about how to perform wudoo, which is an Islamic ritual for purification before prayer. Uthman bin Affan asked the companions of Prophet Muhammad if they had seen him performing wudoo in a certain way, and they confirmed that he did.
