Musnad Ahmad 409 (Book 4, Hadith 11) #34085
The Reward of Praying in Congregation

SUMMARY: Praying in congregation is more rewarding than praying alone.

It was narrated from 'Uthman bin 'Affan (رضي الله عنه) that the Prophet said: "whoever prays 'Isha in congregation is like one who spent half the night in prayer, and whoever prays Fajr in congregation is like one who spent the entire night in prayer".

QUICK LESSONS:
Attend congregational prayers as much as possible .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith highlights the importance of praying in congregation. It was narrated by Uthman bin Affan that the Prophet said that whoever prays Isha in congregation is like one who spent half the night in prayer and whoever prays Fajr in congregation is like one who spent the entire night in prayer. This means that when we pray together with other people, it has a greater reward than if we were to pray alone. This encourages us to make an effort to attend congregational prayers as much as possible so that we can reap its rewards and benefit from it spiritually.
