Rewards for Helping Warriors and Building Mosques

SUMMARY: Whoever helps a warrior, builds a mosque or shades the head of a warrior will be rewarded by Allah on the Day of Resurrection.

I: was narrated that 'Umar bin al-Khattab (رضي الله عنه) said: The Messenger of Allah said: "Whoever shades the head of a warrior, Allah will shade him on the Day of Resurrection; whoever equips a warrior until he is fully equipped, will have a reward like his; whoever builds a mosque in which the Name of Allah is mentioned. Allah will build for him a house in Paradise".

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about how Allah rewards those who help warriors and build mosques. It teaches us that if we help others in need or build places of worship for Allah's name to be mentioned in then we will be rewarded with paradise on the Day of Resurrection. The Prophet Muhammad said that whoever shades the head of a warrior will have their own head shaded by Allah on the Day of Judgement; whoever equips a warrior until they are fully equipped will receive reward equal to theirs; and whoever builds a mosque in which Allah's name is mentioned will have their own house built for them in paradise. These teachings remind us to always do good deeds as they can bring great rewards from God.
