Musnad Ahmad 370 (Book 2, Hadith 272) #34047
Trusting in Allah's Provision

SUMMARY: Allah will provide for those who trust in Him, just as He provides for the birds.

lt was narrated from Abu Tameem that he heard 'Umar bin al-Khattab (رضي الله عنه) say: I heard the Prophet say: "If you truly put your trust in Allah, He would provide for you as He provides for the birds: they go out with empty stomachs and come back with full stomachs'.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about trusting in Allah and His provision. It was narrated from Abu Tameem that he heard 'Umar bin al-Khattab say that he heard the Prophet say that if one puts their trust in Allah, He will provide for them just as He provides for the birds. The birds go out with empty stomachs and come back with full stomachs, indicating that they have been provided with sustenance by Allah. This hadith teaches us to put our trust in Allah and rely on Him to provide us with what we need. We should not worry or be anxious about our needs being met because we know that if we put our trust in Him, He will take care of us like He takes care of the birds.
