QUICK LESSONS:
Perform wudoo before prayer, wipe over your leather slipper after performing wduo if you have done so earlier in the day or within a certain time frame.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). It was narrated by ?Umar ibn al-Khattab that he saw the Messenger of Allah performing wudoo after relieving himself, and wiping over his leather slippers, then praying. This hadith teaches us that it is a sunnah to perform wudoo before prayer, which includes washing certain parts of the body as well as wiping over one's leather slippers. This practice is known as khuff in Arabic. It is important to note that this practice only applies when one has already performed wudoo earlier in the day or within a certain time frame. Therefore, it is important to understand when this practice can be applied so that we can follow in the footsteps of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
