Beware of Knowledgeable Hypocrites

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) warned of the danger of knowledgeable hypocrites with smooth tongues.

It was narrated that Abu 'Uthman an-Nahdi said: l was sitting beneath the minbar of 'Umar (رضي الله عنه) when he was addressing the people, and he said in his khutbah:I heard the Messenger of Allah say: "What I fear the most for this ummah is every knowledgeable hypocrite with a smooth tongue".

QUICK LESSONS:
Seek knowledge from reliable sources , Put your knowledge into practice .

EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith narrated by Abu 'Uthman an-Nahdi speaks to the importance of being aware and cautious of those who may appear to be knowledgeable and have a smooth tongue, but are in fact hypocrites. This is because they can use their knowledge and eloquence to deceive people, leading them astray from the truth. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) warned us about this type of person, as they can be very dangerous for the Ummah. We should always strive to seek knowledge from reliable sources and not be swayed by those who may appear knowledgeable but are actually deceiving us with their words. We should also remember that knowledge without action is useless; it is only when we put our knowledge into practice that it becomes beneficial for ourselves and others around us.
