QUICK LESSONS:
Respect your parents, follow in the footsteps of Prophet Muhammad, avoid oaths or swearing by one's father.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's teachings on not swearing by one's father. It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas said that Umar was with the Prophet on a journey when a man swore by his father, and another man told him not to do so. When they turned around, they saw it was the Prophet himself who had said this. This shows us how important it is to respect our parents and not swear by them as it can be seen as disrespectful. We should also remember that we should always follow in the footsteps of our beloved prophet and try to emulate his behavior in all aspects of life.
