Generosity of Abu Bakr as Siddeeq

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad was travelling from Makkah to Madinah and became thirsty. Abu Bakr as Siddeeq milked a cup of milk for him and the Prophet drank until he was pleased.

Al-Bara' said: When the Messenger of Allah came from Makkah to Madinah, the Messenger of Allah got thirsty. They passed by a herd of sheep, Abu Bakr as Siddeeq said: I took a cup and milked a cupful of milk for the Messenger of Allah . I brought it to him and he drank until I was pleased,
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا إِسْحَاقَ، يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ الْبَرَاءَ، قَالَ لَمَّا أَقْبَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ مِنْ مَكَّةَ إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ عَطِشَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ فَمَرُّوا بِرَاعِي غَنَمٍ قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ فَأَخَذْتُ قَدَحًا فَحَلَبْتُ فِيهِ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ كُثْبَةً مِنْ لَبَنٍ فَأَتَيْتُهُ بِهِ فَشَرِبَ حَتَّى رَضِيتُ‏.‏

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the generosity of Abu Bakr as Siddeeq towards the Prophet Muhammad. When they were travelling from Makkah to Madinah, the Prophet became thirsty and Abu Bakr took a cup and milked some milk for him. He brought it to him and he drank until he was pleased. This hadith teaches us that we should be generous towards others in times of need or difficulty. We should always be willing to help those who are in need even if it is something small like providing them with a drink when they are thirsty or food when they are hungry. It also teaches us that we should not hesitate to do good deeds even if it is something small because Allah will reward us for our efforts no matter how big or small they may be.
