According to a hadith narrated by Abu Bakr as-Siddeeq, Prophet Muhammad foretold that an individual known as the Dajjal would emerge from a land in the east called Khurasan. The Dajjal is also referred to as an antichrist or false messiah and will be followed by people whose faces are described like hammered shields. This hadith serves to remind us that we should always remain vigilant and not be deceived by false prophets or teachings.
