Sahih al-Bukhari 3528 (Book 61, Hadith 38) #3370
Family Ties and Belonging

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) taught that the son of a sister is considered to be part of the family.

Narrated Anas: The Prophet sent for the Ansar (and when they came), he asked, 'Is there any stranger amongst you?" They said, "No except the son of our sister". Allah's Messenger said, "The son of the sister of some people belongs to them".

QUICK LESSONS:
Accept people into your families regardless if they are related or not; Treat them with kindness and respect just like any other member in your families; Remember everyone has a place in this world where they belong; Show acceptance towards others no matter what their background is or who their relatives are.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith, narrated by Anas ibn Malik, teaches us about the importance of family ties and belonging. It tells us that even if someone is not related to you by blood, they can still be considered part of your family. In this case, it was a son of a sister who was not related to them by blood but was still accepted as part of their family. This hadith teaches us that we should accept people into our families regardless if they are related or not and treat them with kindness and respect just like any other member in our families. We should also remember that everyone has a place in this world where they belong and feel accepted no matter what their background is or who their relatives are.
