EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith emphasizes the importance of taking responsibility for one's own actions and to take action against any wrongdoings. It was narrated by Qais, who heard it from Abu Bakr, that Allah has commanded us in the verse of al-Ma’idah 5:105 to “take care of our own selves” and follow His guidance. The Prophet Muhammad then added that if people see evil but do not change it, Allah will send His punishment upon them all. This hadith teaches us that we must be proactive in preventing wrongdoing and injustice in our society, as we are responsible for our own actions as well as those around us. We should strive to make sure that everyone is following the right path so that no harm comes to anyone due to someone else’s mistakes or misdeeds.
