The Power of Three Prayers

SUMMARY: Asking for Paradise and seeking refuge from Hell three times will be answered by Allah.

It was narrated from Anas bin Malik that the Messenger of Allah said: "Whoever asks for Paradise, three times, Paradise will say: "O Allah, admit him to Paradise". And whoever asked to be saved from Hell, three times, Hell will say: "O Allah, save him from Hell".
حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ بُرَيْدِ بْنِ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ ـ ‏ "‏ مَنْ سَأَلَ الْجَنَّةَ ثَلاَثَ مَرَّاتٍ قَالَتِ الْجَنَّةُ اللَّهُمَّ أَدْخِلْهُ الْجَنَّةَ وَمَنِ اسْتَجَارَ مِنَ النَّارِ ثَلاَثَ مَرَّاتٍ قَالَتِ النَّارُ اللَّهُمَّ أَجِرْهُ مِنَ النَّارِ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the power of prayer and supplication to Allah. It is narrated by Anas bin Malik that the Messenger of Allah said that whoever asks for Paradise three times, Paradise will say “O Allah, admit him to Paradise” and whoever asked to be saved from Hell three times, Hell will say “O Allah, save him from Hell”. This hadith teaches us that if we ask for something sincerely with faith in our hearts then it will be granted by Allah. We should always remember to ask for what is good and seek refuge from what is bad as this hadith shows us how powerful our prayers can be when we make them with sincerity and faith in our hearts.
