The Cistern of Gold and Silver

SUMMARY: The Prophet ﷺ said that the Cistern contains jugs of gold and silver, like the number of stars in the sky.

Anas bin Malik narrated that the Prophet said: 'One can see in it (the Cistern) jugs of gold and silver, like the number of stars in the sky".
حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ مَسْعَدَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ قَالَ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ ـ ـ ‏ "‏ يُرَى فِيهِ أَبَارِيقُ الذَّهَبِ وَالْفِضَّةِ كَعَدَدِ نُجُومِ السَّمَاءِ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about a cistern that contains jugs of gold and silver, like the number of stars in the sky. It is narrated by Anas bin Malik who was a companion to Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. This hadith teaches us that there are many blessings from Allah SWT which we cannot even imagine or comprehend. We should be thankful for all His blessings and strive to do good deeds so we can be rewarded with these blessings in our afterlife. Furthermore, this hadith also encourages us to have faith in Allah SWT as He has promised us many rewards if we follow His teachings and stay away from sins.
