EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks of the mercy of Allah and how it surpasses His wrath. It was narrated by Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah said that when Allah created the universe, He decreed for Himself that His mercy would prevail over His wrath. This means that no matter what happens in this world, no matter how much pain and suffering we experience or how much evil we witness, ultimately it is God’s mercy which will prevail over all else. We can take comfort in knowing that even if things seem dark and difficult now, eventually God’s love will shine through and bring us peace and joy.
