Sunan Ibn Majah 4238 (Book 37, Hadith 139) #33594
Persistence in Religious Deeds Rewarded by Allah

SUMMARY: Allah does not get tired of giving reward for good deeds, so one should do what they are able to and persist in their religious deeds.

It was narrated that 'Aishah said: "There was a woman with me, and the Prophet entered upon me and said: 'Who is that?’ I said: 'So-and-so; she does not sleep,’" – she mentioned her excessive praying".The Prophet said: 'Keep quiet. You should do what you are able to, for by Allah, Allah does not get tired (of giving reward) but you get tired.’" She said: "The most beloved of religious deed to him was that in which a person persists".

QUICK LESSONS:
Do what you are able to persistently
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of persistence in religious deeds. It was narrated by 'Aishah that the Prophet entered her house and saw a woman who was praying excessively. The Prophet told her to keep quiet and do what she is able to as Allah does not get tired of giving reward for good deeds but people can get tired from doing them. He also said that the most beloved of religious deed to him was that which a person persists in doing. This hadith teaches us that we should be persistent with our religious duties as Allah will always reward us for it no matter how small or big it may be. We should also remember that we have limitations and only do what we are capable of so we don't tire ourselves out too much.
