SUMMARY: People will be judged according to their intentions.

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah said: "People will be resurrected (and judged) according to their intentions".

QUICK LESSONS:
Strive for purity of intention in all aspects of life
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith from the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ teaches us that our intentions are important and will be taken into account when we are judged. Our intentions can be good or bad and they determine how we act in our lives. We should always strive to have good intentions in all that we do so that when it comes time for judgement, Allah will judge us favorably. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ also taught us that even if our actions may not appear outwardly good, if our intention was pure then Allah will take this into consideration on the Day of Judgment. Therefore it is important for us to always strive for purity of intention in all aspects of life so that we can receive a favorable judgement from Allah on the Day of Judgment.
