The Blessing of Knowledge and Remembrance of Allah

SUMMARY: The world and its contents are cursed, except for those who remember Allah and acquire knowledge.

Remembering Allah often , Striving for knowledge .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is narrated by Abu Hurairah which states that the world and all that it contains is cursed. However, there are two exceptions to this rule; remembrance of Allah or dhikr and acquiring knowledge. By remembering Allah we can be blessed with His mercy as He has promised in the Quran. Similarly, by acquiring knowledge we can gain wisdom which will help us make better decisions in life. Therefore this hadith encourages us to remember Allah often and strive for knowledge so that we may be blessed with His mercy.
