The Insignificance of Dajjal Before Allah

SUMMARY: The Prophet ﷺ was asked about Dajjal and he responded that Dajjal is too insignificant before Allah to have food and drink with him.

It was narrated that Mughirah bin Shu'bah said: "No one asked the Prophet about Dajjal more than I did". (One of the narrators) Ibn Numair said (in his version): "(No one asked) more difficult questions than I did". - "He said to me: 'What are you asking about him?' I said: 'They say he will have food and drink with him'. He said: 'He is too insignificant before Allah for that'."

QUICK LESSONS:
Remember how small we are compared to God’s greatness and power; submit ourselves to His will; understand our own insignificance compared to Him; respect His greatness .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks of the insignificance of Dajjal before Allah. It was narrated by Mughirah bin Shu'bah who said that no one asked the Prophet more questions about Dajjal than he did. Ibn Numair added in his version that no one asked more difficult questions than he did. When Mughirah asked what people were saying about Dajjal having food and drink with him, the Prophet responded by saying that it was too insignificant for Allah to allow such a thing as it would be beneath Him. This hadith teaches us an important lesson which is to remember how small we are compared to God's greatness and power; we should not think ourselves capable of doing anything without His permission or approval as He alone has control over all things in this world.
