This hadith is about a prophecy made by the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). He took Abdullah bin Buraidah to a desert near Makkah and told him that the Beast will emerge from that spot. This beast is mentioned in Islamic literature as al-Hayawān which means ‘the beast’ in Arabic.
