Difficulties in Religion and Worldly Affairs

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) warned that religion will become harder to practice, worldly affairs will become more difficult, people will become more stingy and the Hour of Judgement will come upon the worst of people. He also mentioned that Jesus (PBUH) is the Mahdi after him.

It was narrated from Anas bin Malik that the Messenger of Allah said: "Adhering to religion will only become harder and worldly affairs will only become more difficult, and people will only become more stingy, and the Hour will only come upon the worst of people, and the only Mahdi (after Muhammad ) is 'Eisa bin Maryam".
