Sunan Ibn Majah 4032 (Book 36, Hadith 107) #33387
Patience and Tolerance Rewarded

SUMMARY: The believer who is patient and tolerant when dealing with people will be rewarded more than the one who avoids them.

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that the Messenger of Allah said: "The believer who mixes with people and bears their annoyance with patience will have a greater reward than the believer who does not mix with people and does not put up with their annoyance".

QUICK LESSONS:
Remain patient and tolerant when dealing with difficult situations or annoying people.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us that patience and tolerance are important values to have in life. It is narrated by Ibn 'Umar, a companion of Prophet Muhammad, that the Messenger of Allah said that believers who mix with people and bear their annoyance with patience will have a greater reward than those who do not mix with people or put up with their annoyance. This means that even if we face difficult situations or annoying people, if we remain patient and tolerant, we will be rewarded for it in the hereafter. We should strive to practice these values in our daily lives so as to gain Allah's pleasure.
