Sunan Ibn Majah 4029 (Book 36, Hadith 104) #33384
Don't Take Faith for Granted

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) warned his followers that they should not be complacent in their faith, as they may be tested.

It was narrated from Hudhaifah that the Messenger of Allah said: "Count for me all those who have uttered (the word of) Islam". We said: "O Messenger of Allah, do you fear for us when we number between six and seven hundred?" The Messenger of Allah said: "You do not know, perhaps you will be tested".
