Sunan Ibn Majah 3904 (Book 35, Hadith 12) #33258
The Authenticity of Dreams Featuring the Prophet Muhammad

SUMMARY: Seeing the Prophet Muhammad in a dream is equivalent to seeing him when one is awake, as Satan cannot imitate his appearance.

It was narrated from 'Awn bin Abu Juhaifah, from his father, that the Messenger of Allah said: "Whoever sees me in a dream, it is as if he has seen me when he is awake, for Satan is not able to resemble me".
