The Greatest Name of Allah

SUMMARY: The greatest name of Allah is found in two verses from the Quran.

It was narrated from Asma' bint Yazid that : the Messenger of Allah (SAWS) said: "The Greatest Name of Allah is in these two Verses: And your Ilah (God) is One Ilah (God - Allah), La Ilaha Illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful'. And at the beginning of Surah Al 'Imran".

EXPLANATIONS:
According to this hadith, the Messenger of Allah (SAWS) taught us that the greatest name of Allah is found in two verses from the Quran. These verses are “And your Ilah (God) is One Ilah (God - Allah), La Ilaha Illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.' And at the beginning of Surah Al 'Imran”. This hadith teaches us that we should remember and recite these two verses as they contain one of God's greatest names. It also reminds us to be grateful for His mercy and grace, which are mentioned in these verses. We should also strive to learn more about God by reading and understanding His words in the Quran.
