Ask Allah for al-mu’afa with humility & sincerity; Be grateful towards Him; Pray regularly; Have faith in His mercy & power; Seek refuge with Him through prayer .

This hadith narrated by Abu Hurairah tells us that supplicating to Allah for al-mu’afah in this world and the hereafter is the best prayer. Mu’afa means safety, security, protection and well being. It is a comprehensive term that encompasses all aspects of life such as physical health, mental health, spiritual well being and financial stability. This hadith encourages us to ask Allah for all these things in our prayers so that we can live a life of peace and contentment both in this world and the hereafter. We should also remember that it is only through His mercy that we can attain these blessings so we must always be grateful to Him no matter what situation we are in.
