The Importance of Including Everyone in Conversation

SUMMARY: It is not good to exclude someone from a conversation when there are three people present.

It was narrated from Abdullah that the Messenger of Allah said: "When you are three, two should not converse (privately) to the exclusion of their companion, because that makes him sad".
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، وَوَكِيعٌ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ شَقِيقٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ ـ ‏ "‏ إِذَا كُنْتُمْ ثَلاَثَةً فَلاَ يَتَنَاجَى اثْنَانِ دُونَ صَاحِبِهِمَا فَإِنَّ ذَلِكَ يُحْزِنُهُ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us the importance of including everyone in conversations. It is not good to exclude someone from a conversation when there are three people present as it can make them feel sad and left out. This hadith encourages us to be mindful of our companions and include them in conversations even if we are only two people talking. We should also be aware that excluding someone from a conversation can make them feel lonely and isolated which is why it is important to include everyone in conversations whenever possible. By doing this we can create an atmosphere of companionship and respect for each other's feelings.
