Chasing Pigeons is Like Chasing Devils

SUMMARY: The Prophet saw a man chasing a pigeon and commented that it was like a devil chasing another devil.

It was narrated that Anas bin Malik said: "The Messenger of Allah saw a man chasing a pigeon and said: 'A devil chasing a devil'."
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نَصْرٍ، مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ خَلَفٍ الْعَسْقَلاَنِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا رَوَّادُ بْنُ الْجَرَّاحِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعْدٍ السَّاعِدِيُّ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ رَأَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ ـ رَجُلاً يَتْبَعُ حَمَامًا فَقَالَ ‏ "‏ شَيْطَانٌ يَتْبَعُ شَيْطَانًا
