Trusting Those Who Are Consulted

SUMMARY: The Messenger of Allah taught that those who are consulted should be trusted.

It was narrated from Abu Mas'ud that the Messenger of Allah said: "One who is consulted is entrusted".
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ، عَنْ شَرِيكٍ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي عَمْرٍو الشَّيْبَانِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ ـ ‏ "‏ الْمُسْتَشَارُ مُؤْتَمَنٌ
