QUICK LESSONS:
Respect places of worship; Spend time wisely; Avoid inappropriate activities while at places of worship

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about avoiding sleeping in the masjid, which was narrated by Abu Umamah. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ passed by a man who was sleeping on his face and struck him with his foot, telling him to get up or sit up because this kind of sleep is hellish. This hadith teaches us that we should not take advantage of the sanctity of the masjid by using it for activities such as sleeping, which are inappropriate for such a holy place. We should instead use our time at the masjid to pray and reflect on Allah's greatness and mercy. It also serves as a reminder that we should be mindful of how we spend our time, since every moment counts when it comes to doing good deeds and seeking Allah's pleasure.
