Avoiding Sitting Between Shade and Sun

SUMMARY: The Prophet forbade sitting between the shade and sun.

It was narrated from Ibn Buraidah, from his father, that the Prophet : "forbade sitting between the shade and sun".
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُنِيبِ، عَنِ ابْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ـ ـ نَهَى أَنْ يُقْعَدَ بَيْنَ الظِّلِّ وَالشَّمْسِ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us that we should not sit between the shade and sun. This is because it can be dangerous for our health as it can cause heatstroke or other illnesses due to extreme temperatures. We should also be mindful of our environment when we are outside, as there may be other dangers such as insects or animals that could harm us if we are not careful. Additionally, this hadith reminds us to take care of ourselves by avoiding activities that could put us in danger.

The Prophet Muhammad was known for teaching people how to live a healthy life, both physically and spiritually. He taught his followers to take care of their bodies by eating nutritious food, exercising regularly, and avoiding activities that could put them in danger such as sitting between the shade and sun. By following these teachings, we can ensure that our bodies remain healthy so that we can continue living a fulfilling life on earth before meeting Allah in the hereafter.
